Nikol Pashinyan received the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar and the delegation led by him. This was reported by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the dynamic activation of the Armenia-EU dialogue and noted that our country attaches importance to the development of partnership with the EU.

The Prime Minister of Armenia and the EU Special Representative exchanged views on the agenda of bilateral relations.

The interlocutors touched upon the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and a number of issues of regional importance.

The sides stressed the importance of resuming the negotiation process within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs. Klaar stressed that the EU is ready to contribute to the process of establishing an atmosphere of trust and dialogue in the region.
