The situation in front of the Ministry of Defense was tense, when the parents of the servicemen killed in the 44-day war, who were carrying out a protest action in the morning, entered the building. After negotiating with the military police for a few minutes, the parents left the building, saying they were informed that Minister Papikyan is not in the building of the ministry.

"We were told that it is not allowed, that is, we have no right to enter the ministry," said Vahrid Sahakyan, the father of Zhora Sahakyan, who fell in the war.

The parents are upset that they refused to let them in for almost 2 hours.

The parents of the soldiers fallen in the 44-day war waited for more than an hour in front of the building, demanding a meeting with Minister Suren Papikyan or Deputy Minister Arman Sargsyan. Vahrid Sahakyan, the father of soldier Zhora Sahakyan, who fell in the war, told reporters that last time they were told that the minister would not receive them because he did not have time. 

"Papikyan is obliged to accept us, because we sacrificed our dearest for this country. We will wait as long as needed. Papikyan and Sargsyan, by whose order the 5th defense unit of Martakert was moved to Martuni 2, should answer," said the father of the fallen soldier.

Vahrid Sahakyan mentioned that they also demand a meeting with the battalion commander Pavlik Kyaramyan, whom they accuse of killing their sons. 

"Pavlik Kyaramyan should clarify under what circumstances our boys were killed, who is guilty, why the order to retreat was not given, by whose order the battalion was moved from the 5th defensive line to the 2nd defensive line, etc," he said. 
 
The parents said they will leave when they get answers to their questions.
"They calm us down and send us home. But we have not received any answer till now," he said.
