The United States at the highest level, represented by Secretary of State Blinken and National Security Advisor Jack Sullivan, is involved in and supports direct Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations. Philip Reeker, the senior adviser on Caucasian negotiations, ambassador, and US co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group, announced this in his video message.
"We are committed to ensuring a peaceful future in the South Caucasus. We strongly believe that continued direct dialogue (ie diplomacy, not military action) is key to resolving issues and achieving comprehensive, lasting peace and prosperity. We all realize that this is not easy, but I want to repeat the observation of Secretary of State Blinken during the meeting with Mirzoyan and Bayramov, he said, "The United States is committed to doing everything possible to support your efforts to establish a stable game," Reeker noted.
