The continuing blockade of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan that has left 120.000 Armenians living in Nagorno-Karabakh/Artsakh without food, medicine and other essential supplies, has also immensely affected the education system. With severe energy and food shortages, the Government has been forced to close kindergartens, pre-schools, public schools, and all-day school programs. Tens of thousands of children continue to be deprived of their fundamental rights to education, health, adequate food and nutrition.
