After yesterday’s shooting near Shushi our Armed Forces took appropriate precautions, as a result of which the shots from the Azerbaijani side stopped, Gegham Stepanyan, the Human Rights Defender of Artsakh, wrote on his Facebook page.

“In connection with yesterday’s shooting incident near Shushi, I contacted the authorized bodies to clarify the situation.

I was informed that shots were fired into the air, but there were no targeted shots.

Our armed forces took appropriate measures, as a result of which the shots from the Azerbaijani side stopped.

At the moment no consequences have been recorded,” Stepanyan wrote.
