On August 5, Armenian Defence Minister Arshak Karapetyan received the commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Artsakh, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

 

“The head of the Russian peacekeeping unit congratulated the Minister of Defence on his appointment to a high state position. The interlocutors discussed issues related to the peacekeeping mission of the Russian Federation, as well as the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border,” – the statement reads.
