The command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh is investigating the details of a shootout between units of the Defence Army and the armed forces of Azerbaijan on August 9 near Shushi.

“On August 9, at around 17:45, a shootout took place between the armed formations of Nagorno-Karabakh and the armed forces of Azerbaijan near Shushi. Due to the efforts of Russian peacekeepers, the shooting was stopped, there are no casualties,” Russian Defense Ministry informs.
