On the night of August 12 units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces tried to cross the line of contact between Artsakhi and Azerbaijani troops in the western part of the Republic of Artsakh. As a result of the retaliatory actions of the Defence Army, the attempt was stopped. This was reported by the Artsakh Defence Army.

There are no casualties on the Armenian side.

The command of the Russian contingent carrying out a peacekeeping mission in the Republic of Artsakh was immediately informed about the provocation of the Azerbaijani side.
