On August 17, starting at 14:45, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire from various caliber firearms at the Armenian positions on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in Gegharkunik, particularly in the Sotk region, as a result of which one serviceman of the Armenian Armed Forces received a gunshot wound. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
