Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, touched upon the long-term settlement of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, also answering a question about the latest statements of the President of Azerbaijan at a briefing on August 19.
“That strikes directly at one point and harms the main thing – the achievement of a stable result,” Zakharova said.
“The supply of arms by Russia to foreign countries is our sovereign right. We have formed appropriate relations with both Armenia and Azerbaijan. At the same time, we take into account the need for a balance of forces in the region,” Zakharova added.
