On August 20, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a telephone conversation with Artsakh Foreign Minister David Babayan. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

The interlocutors stressed the need to resume the process of peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs. The Ministers discussed the situation that has developed as a result of the Azerbaijani-Turkish aggression.

The interlocutors stressed the inadmissibility of provocative actions carried out by the Azerbaijani armed forces on the borders of Armenia and Artsakh, which is a serious threat to regional peace and stability.
