Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has sent a congratulatory message to Ararat Mirzoyan on his appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. This was reported in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

The congratulatory message of the Russian Foreign Minister reads.

“Dear Ararat Mirzoyan, I congratulate you on your appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

I highly appreciate your contribution to the development of effective Armenian-Russian inter-parliamentary relations as the President of the National Assembly of Armenia. I look forward to further promotion of close cooperation between the two foreign ministries, which proceeds from the key interests of the people of Russia and Armenia.
