Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

The sides touched upon the effective cooperation between the two countries. Ararat Mirzoyan drew attention to the situation that has developed as a result of the illegal invasion of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on the sovereign territory of Armenia, stressing that such behavior is a serious threat to regional stability.
