President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan met with Igor Khovayev, the Russian Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, in Yerevan. This was reported by the Government of the Republic of Artsakh.

Various issues related to the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict were discussed and the importance of the upcoming visit of the co-chairs to the region was also stressed during the meeting.

In preserving peace and stability, the President emphasized the importance of the Russian peacekeeping mission in the region.

He stressed that Artsakh continues to remain faithful to the commitment to continue the negotiation process in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group.
