On September 7, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin, the head of the EU delegation to Armenia. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

Minister Mirzoyan drew the attention of his interlocutor to the provocative actions of the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces against the sovereign territory of Armenia, which pose a serious threat to the security and stable development of the region.

The sides touched upon the humanitarian problems created in Artsakh after the 44-day war. In this context, the urgency of the problem of the unconditional repatriation of Armenian POWs was emphasized.

Minister Mirzoyan also noted the importance of resuming the peace process for the long-term and comprehensive settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship.
