Today at around 07:30, Armen Verdyan (born in 1971), a resident of Aygestan village of Askeran district, was reported missing in the Artsakh National Security Service, the National Security Service of Artsakh reports. 

“It turned out that the citizen of Artsakh got lost in the area of the communities of Nakhichevanik and Ughtasar of the Askeran district and found himself in the territory controlled by the armed forces of Azerbaijan.

The incident was immediately reported to the Russian peacekeepers, who established and assured of the safety of our citizen.

At the moment, negotiations are underway on the return of the citizen of the Republic of Artsakh to the Armenian side.”
