On February 19, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informs.

The Foreign Ministers expressed satisfaction with the effective cooperation based on mutual respect and common values – democracy, rule of law, protection of human rights. Minister Joly confirmed Canada’s support for the agenda of democratic reforms in Armenia.

The sides expressed readiness to take practical steps to strengthen the positive dynamics of Armenian-Canadian relations.

During the conversation, the Foreign Ministers also discussed a number of important issues on the international and regional agenda.
