Leyla Abdullayeva, head of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Press Service, responded to the protest note of the Armenian Foreign Ministry in connection with the involvement of the UN office in the event in Shoushi.

“The organization of any event on the sovereign territories of Azerbaijan and the participation of international representatives in that event is not within the competence of Armenia,” Abdullayeva said, Azerbaijani MFA reports.

“Armenia’s interference in the internal affairs of another state is unjustified and unacceptable,” Abdullayeva added.
