Russian peacekeepers have been stationed not only in Parukh, but also in Karaglukh since yesterday, Arayik Harutyunyan, President of Artsakh, stated this at the Government session.

“Peacekeeping forces are stationed in Parukh, units of the Artsakh Defense Army, volunteers, as well as units of the National Security Service are stationed at several heights of Karaglukh. Azerbaijani units are located at some heights, and since yesterday, Russian peacekeepers have been located not only in Parukh, but also in Karaglukh,” Harutyunyan said.

He noted that there was a certain stability and a calmer situation in the tense sections of the contact line, where we later replaced our positions with peacekeeping forces.

“According to the agreement of November 9, Russian peacekeepers should be deployed along the entire line of contact, that is, according to this agreement, there should be no positions either on our side or Azerbaijani, but since the number of peacekeeping forces is insufficient for this, and Azerbaijani units continue not only to be deployed, but also to constantly keep our line of contact and the settlements located next to it under fire, in order to prevent the advance and threats, we continue to carry out combat duty,” Arayik Harutyunyan said.
