On April 11, Ararat Mirzoyan received the Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group from France Brice Roquefeuil, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports.

The role of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the framework of its mandate was emphasized.

During the meeting the sides discussed the situation that has developed as a result of the invasion of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces into the zone of responsibility of Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Mirzoyan presented Armenia’s position on the start of negotiations on a peace treaty with Azerbaijan, emphasizing in this context the mediation role of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs and the Co-chairing countries.
