Azerbaijan is ready to start delimitation with Armenia. Bayramov

Baku is ready to start the process of delimitation of the border with Armenia, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said, Interfax.az reports.

At today’s briefing, Bayramov noted that at the meeting with his Georgian counterpart, he discussed regional processes, including the signing of a peace treaty with Armenia.

“Baku is ready to start border delimitation with Armenia. During the telephone conversation with the Armenian colleague, the issue of the start of the work of the commission (joint commission on delimitation) was discussed,” Bayramov said.

The Minister stressed that the priority direction is “the opening of transport communications in the region,” and “the settlement of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia will serve the interests of all countries of the South Caucasus.”
