Azerbaijan is ready to cooperate with Armenia and Georgia in a trilateral format for the development of the South Caucasus, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said, TASS reports.
“Noting that both countries have a common view on the development of the South Caucasus, President Ilham Aliyev stressed that Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia have good opportunities for cooperation in a trilateral format, especially at the post-conflict stage. The President said that “the Azerbaijani side is ready for that,” the press service of the President of Azerbaijan reports.
Aliyev also said that he hopes that “Armenia will also understand that this is the only way to establish stability and security in the region.”
