The meeting of the trilateral working group on Nagorno-Karabakh co-chaired by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan will be held in the near future, Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson of Russian Foreign Ministry, said, TASS reports.
Zakharova noted that Russia considers high-level trilateral agreements as a basis for the development of the settlement process of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and continues to actively work with Yerevan and Baku in all areas, including the unblocking of economic and transport ties, the beginning of the demarcation process of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, and the negotiation on a peace treaty.
She said that fundamental differences remain between Baku and Yerevan over the status of Karabakh. We see our role in bringing the parties closer together.
