On May 23, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan held a phone conversation with Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports.

During the phone conversation, reference was made to the implementation process of the provisions of Trilateral Statements of November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021.

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Russia discussed issues on the establishment of the Commission on delimitation and border security between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Reference was made also to the unblocking of regional economic and transport communications.

Minister Mirzoyan reiterated Armenia’s position on the establishment of regional peace and stability and the normalization process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

They also discussed Issues of bilateral and multilateral agenda of Armenian-Russian cooperation, and exchanged views on the steps towards further consolidation of allied relations.
