Today, at around 10:40, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire on Armenian positions located on the southeastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, as a result of which a serviceman David Vardanyan, received a gunshot wound, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reports.

The condition of the serviceman is assessed as severe. The fire of Azerbaijani units was suppressed by retaliatory actions of the Armenian side.
