The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan informs that an Azerbaijani soldier was killed as a result of the shootings of Artsakh Defense Forces.

“On the morning of August 3, in the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily stationed, the Armenian side opened intense fire in the direction of the units of the Azerbaijani army stationed in the region of Lachin,” the report states. 

According to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, as a result, serviceman Anar Kazimov died from a gunshot wound.

“Azerbaijani army units have taken appropriate measures,” the report says.
