On August 16, the next round of political consultations between the Foreign Affair ministries of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Argentina took place in the Ministry of Foreign Relations, International Trade, and Worship of Argentina. The RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that the consultations were held by Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan and his Argentinian counterpart Pablo Tetamanti.
The interlocutors discussed the positive course of bilateral traditional friendly relations. The regular Armenian-Argentine political dialogue, the expansion of the legal contract field, and the development of trade-economic and inter-parliamentary ties were emphasized. The importance of revitalizing trade and economic ties in bilateral relations was underlined.
The sides referred to the cooperation within international organizations. Reference was made to the urgent problems of the regional and international agenda.
Paruyr Hovhannisyan presented the situation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and the importance of the process of its peaceful settlement in order to establish a stable peace in the South Caucasus.
