A group of citizens was protesting in front of the Armenian government building in support of Berdzor, Aghavno, and Nerkin Sus settlements. They demanded from the authorities not to allow the Armenian settlements to be surrendered. One of the participants of the action said in a conversation with journalists that the people were convinced that it is not possible to bring back what was lost, but it can be brought back only through consolidation and being demanding.

“We need to show the world that we are demanding. If we don’t, the world won’t care. Initially, we wanted to protest in front of the government building, but we were told that we could not go near the building. They don’t allow flags to be posted, what does that mean?” he said.

It should be reminded that on August 5, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Artsakh Hayk Khanumyan informed the residents of Berdzor in Aghavnoi that they should leave their homes by August 25.
