The US House Committee on Appropriations has released the State Department’s report on appropriations for foreign operations and related programs for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023.
According to the document, it is planned to provide at least 60 million dollars for the development of Armenia’s economic and private sector, energy independence, democracy, rule of law, and other purposes.
“2 million dollars are also planned for the demining of Nagorno Karabakh. The commission is concerned about the impact of the Karabakh conflict on humanitarian issues and the challenges arising from it in the areas of housing, food, security, water, sanitation, healthcare, and other areas,” the report states.
