armenpress.am: Arsen Harutyunyan, a member of the Armenian freestyle wrestling team, became the bronze medalist of the World Championship.

Arsen Harutyunyan competed with USA Seth Anthony Gross in wrestling for the bronze medal in the 61 kg weight category of the World Championship in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, and won 12:0.

Arsen Harutyunyan started the fight in the World Championship from the 1/8 finals, where he won 12:2 over the athlete representing Uzbekistan. However, Harutyunyan was defeated in the quarterfinals, losing to Japanese Rei Higuchi. In the final match, the Armenian athlete defeated Islam Dudaev, representing Albania, with a score of 12:11.

Arsen Harutyunyan is the champion of the European Championship, the bronze medalist of the World Championship. He has participated in the Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
