We came to Armenia to be with the Armenians during a difficult period, said the deputies of the French National Assembly on October 28 during the meeting with the representatives of the Armenia-France friendship group of the RA NA.

They informed that, on the initiative of the “Revival” group, the French National Assembly plans to adopt a resolution that provides certain sanctions against Azerbaijan, condemns the Azerbaijani aggression, demands to return the occupied territories, and returns to the negotiation table.

Armenian parliamentarians emphasized the adoption of the above-mentioned resolution. Vladimir Vardanyan, head of the RA NA Armenia-France friendship group, valued the development of dynamic relations with France, particularly between the legislative bodies. On behalf of the friendly group, the deputy congratulated the newly elected members of the French National Assembly. It was noted that a friendly group with Armenia will be formed in the French parliament in the near future.

Issues related to the development of Armenian-French cooperation in the economic sphere, implementation of joint projects, and long-term sustainable investments were discussed. It was noted that Armenia is improving its economic and competitive environment to attract new investments.
