On November 10, the chiefs of the general staffs of the armed forces of the CSTO countries will discuss issues of military cooperation in a specific format.
According to TASS, the press secretary of the CSTO joint headquarters, Vladislav Shegrikovich, announced this.
According to him, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, as well as the Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Anatoly Sidorov and CSTO Deputy Secretary General Takhir Khairuloev will participate in the meeting led by Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.
The parties will discuss “military security challenges and threats in the CSTO Collective Security Regions, measures aimed at countering them, the development of CSTO peacekeeping potential, including joining UN peacekeeping activities, improving the organization and provision of international flights of state (military) aviation of CSTO member states, a number of other topical issues.”
