It is too early to talk about the change in the health condition of the 3 servicemen who were transferred to the National  Burn Center as a result of the fire that broke out in the shelter of the engineer battalion of the military unit located in the territory of Azat village of Gegharkunik, both in terms of positive and negative changes.

Karine Babayan, deputy director of the National Burn Center, told the Armenian Public Television that they are still in a stable and serious condition, and one of them was connected to an artificial respiration machine.

“It was planned to take into account the burning of the airways, as swellings occur, which can interfere with breathing. Therefore, we switched to artificial respiration, after some time, when the swelling starts to go down, we will come out of intubation,” said Babayan.

It should be reminded that 15 servicemen were killed as a result of a fire that broke out in the accommodation of the engineer sniper company of the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense.
