On February 21, RA Deputy Defense Minister Arman Sargsyan received the delegation led by Stefano Tomat, the commander of civil operations of the EU External Action Service. As we learn from the press release of the Ministry of Defense, the head of the EU monitoring mission in Armenia, Markus Ritter, was also part of the delegation.

During the meeting, issues related to the activity of the EU monitoring mission in Armenia were discussed.

Both sides emphasized the mission’s role in strengthening border stability and security.
