The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Armenia Petr Pirunchik.
As we learn from the announcement of the RA government, the Prime Minister congratulated him on his appointment to a responsible position and expressed hope that Armenian-Czech relations will continue to develop and strengthen during his tenure. Nikol Pashinyan noted that the RA government values cooperation with the Czech Republic both in the political and economic spheres.
The ambassador conveyed to the prime minister the invitation of the head of the government of his country to visit the Czech Republic and expressed confidence that the visit will contribute to the development of bilateral cooperation in various directions.
In this context, the interlocutors discussed issues related to cooperation in high-tech, solar energy, aviation, tourism, education, and other fields.
Reference was made to the developments in the region, the humanitarian crisis created in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of Azerbaijan’s illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor, and the activities of the EU civilian mission in Armenia.
