The press service of the Artsakh State Minister’s Office informs that Artsakh State Minister Ruben Vardanyan has today convened an extended consultation with the participation of the leadership of republican executive bodies, the mayor of Stepanakert, and the heads of administrative districts.
Before getting to work, Ruben Vardanyan offered the participants of the consultation to observe a minute of silence to honor the memory of the victims of the 44-day Artsakh war and all the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the motherland.
“Two years ago, this day was very difficult for our people. Remembering and paying tribute to their memory, we must believe that our rebirth will happen. Our future is in our hands. I am here so that together with you we can do everything for Artsakh to have victories,” said the Minister of State, opening the meeting.
The first question on the agenda referred to the principles of work organization between the state minister and the republican executive bodies. Ruben Vardanyan emphasized three principles: teamwork, transparency, and professionalism.
“I came not just to hold the position of state minister, but to work together with you in a crisis situation,” he emphasized. – Teamwork is important to me, and I am ready to work together with all of you on that principle. The second is transparency: we must do everything to ensure the transparency of our work, decisions made, and implemented programs. Another important principle is professionalism. I am sure that all of you have come a long way professionally, but in order to be competitive professionals in today’s reality, we all need to continuously work on developing our abilities,” he said.
In this situation, the Minister of State singled out the five main directions for Artsakh, the implementation of which should be aimed at the activities of the government of the Republic of Artsakh.
– Artsakh subjectivity,
– security issues,
– economy, infrastructure development,
– cultural, educational, and social issues,
– increasing the efficiency of the state administration system.
Artsakh State Minister also introduced his newly appointed advisers and indicated their areas of coordination at this stage. Artak Beglaryan will deal with foreign political, social, and humanitarian issues, Grigori Martirosyan – with infrastructure, Narine Aghabalyan – with structural and organizational, Mesrop Arakelyan – with financial, and Arman Hakobjanyan – with operational issues.
The next item on the agenda was the preparations for the winter season and urgent issues. Hayk Khanumyan, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia, and Davit Sargsyan, the Mayor of Stepanakert, presented detailed information about the progress of the preparations and their organization.
The progress of the 2020 state program for meeting the housing needs of families affected by the war was also presented at the consultation. Armen Mangasaryan, the chairman of the Housing Affairs Committee of the Republic of Armenia, reported on the current state of the works and projects.
Summarizing the consultation, the Minister of State gave a number of instructions on the issues on the agenda and expressed confidence that teamwork, organized and professional work will provide great results,” the message states.
