Today, the President of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-sissi arrived in Armenia on a two-day official visit.

At the “Zvartnots” international airport, the high-level guest was greeted by the RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan, the Chief of the Office of the RA President Khachatur Poghosyan, and other officials.

After the official welcoming ceremony on May 20 at the residence of the President, Presidents Vahagn Khachaturyan and Abdel Fattah Al Sisi will have a private meeting, which will be followed by the extended meeting of the delegations of the two countries. Afterward, the Presidents of Armenia and Egypt will make statements for the media.

Within the framework of the official visit, President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi will also have a meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.  

The President of Armenia considers it a great honor to host the official visit of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sissi to the Republic of Armenia. Vagahn Khachaturyan considers this visit historic.
