24 people from Artsakh were transferred to Armenia through ICRC mediation, and 19 others went to Artsakh from Armenia |news.am|

Through the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross, 24 people were transferred from Artsakh to Armenia today, 19 from Armenia to Artsakh. This was reported by Zara Amatuni, the head of communication and prevention programs of the Armenian office.

According to him, after the blockade of the Lachin corridor, the Red Cross provided transportation for 296 people in 2 directions.

Since December 12, 2022, Azerbaijan has closed the Lachin Corridor connecting Artsakh to Armenia, as a result of which 120,000 residents of Artsakh, including 30,000 children, are under siege.

It is not possible to deliver 400 tons of food and medicine from RA to Artsakh every day.

5 children are in the neonatal and intensive care units, and 7 patients are in the intensive care unit, 3 are in critical condition.

Azerbaijan has blocked the only gas pipeline feeding Artsakh from Armenia. Fan power outages are carried out 6 times a day for 1 hour. There is a food coupon system.
