Returning to the topic of regional peace, I must say that there are certain positive, public signals from Turkey. We will evaluate these signals and we will respond positively to them. This was stated by the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a government session.
Pashinyan said that the creation of the situation with the roads of Syunik was not unpredictable, and the government has been working towards the formation of new infrastructures during this time and will continue to work.
“The opening of the road on the Eyvazli and Chayzam sections can become a very good symbol of regional stability. The Azerbaijani side claims that the current situation is connected with the stabbing of a serviceman of the border troops of Azerbaijan. Our preliminary checks have shown that the Armenian side has nothing to do with the alleged incident. I’ve also stated that if Azerbaijan has specific data, they can pass it to us. We are also ready for a joint investigation with the participation of representatives of Armenia, Russia, Azerbaijan,” Pashinyan said.
