Vahagn Hovakimyan was elected as the President of the CEC with a ratio of 65 votes to 0.

The National Assembly elected not only the CEC president but also 6 CEC members. Anna Grigoryan, Zhirayr Karapetyan, Nune Hovhannisyan, Silva Markosyan, Armen Smbatyan, and Arusyak Terchanyan were elected members of the Central Election Commission.

It should be noted that Hovakimyan replaces Tigran Mukuchyan, who held the position of CEC president since 2011.
