President of Turkey Erdogan stated that the Armenian diaspora is working against the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations.  “The diaspora, whether in France or the United States, works against [dialogue].  naturally, it has a negative effect on the process.”

 According to Erdogan, it is the authorities of Armenia who should prevent these influences.  “If the authorities of Armenia succeed in this, our views will also change in a positive way.  We are trying to make friends, not enemies.”
