The joint process is underway, as a result of which after a certain stage Russian servicemen will be deployed along the border. The Governor of Gegharkunik region Gnel Sanosyan told this at a press conference today.

According to Sanosyan, some of them are already in the region. “The Azerbaijani armed forces will be withdrawn from those areas, after which the rest of the negotiation process will continue,” he said.

Speaking about the situation on the border the governor said that there are no major changes in the border situation, except for certain incidents. “We had such an incident the other day, as a result of which our soldier was wounded,” Sanosyan said.
