The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Bikantov referred to the armed clashes on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border at a briefing on August 5.

“The Russian side is seriously concerned about the recent increase in armed incidents that occur on certain sections of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. Despite all the steps taken the tension on the border has not yet decreased. Russia is ready to continue to make active contribution to the settlement of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border,”- Bikantov said.
