Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. During the telephone conversation, the sides discussed ways to normalize the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

The sides exchanged views on various aspects of the implementation of the trilateral statements signed by the leaders of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan on November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021.
