On August 27, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin.
Ararat Mirzoyan noted that Armenia will continue to deepen and expand allied relations with Russia in all areas of the interstate agenda, which is also recorded in the government’s program.
The Armenian Foreign Minister expressed satisfaction with Russia’s efforts aimed at implementing the trilateral agreement from November 9, 2020.
Touching upon Azerbaijan’s provocations in recent days, including the closure of the Goris-Kapan highway, Ararat Mirzoyan stressed that the Azerbaijani side undermines Armenia’s efforts aimed at establishing peace in the region.
The interlocutors also discussed cooperation within the framework of the CSTO.
