At a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan noted that Russia is a military-political ally and the main economic partner of Armenia.

“Peace and stability in the region is our strategy and we are ready to launch an active dialogue in this direction, but the situation in the region remains tense, which is mainly characterized by the destructive policy of Azerbaijan. I’d like to state that Baku doesn’t fulfill its obligations under the trilateral statement of the heads of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia,” Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan said.
