Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Saeed Khatibzadeh touched upon the road issue connecting Iran and Armenia.

He stressed the priority of the territorial integrity of neighboring countries and said that Iran is trying to use the support for its neighbors in a balanced way.

In connection with the detention of Iranian drivers by the Azerbaijanis, Khatibzadeh noted that Iran demanded the immediate release of the drivers, as well as a meeting with officials to ensure a basic solution to the problem.
