The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Hossein Amir Abdollahian, upon arrival in Moscow for a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, said that the parties will coordinate their positions on developments in the Caucasus, IRNA news agency reports.
“We expect Russia to react and be sensitive to possible changes in the borders of the countries of the region,” Abdollahian said to journalists.
“It is expected that Russia will be sensitive to the presence of terrorists in the region and the movements of the Zionist regime, which is against peace and security. Taking into account the situation in the South Caucasus region and Afghanistan, we will have serious negotiations,” Iranian FM added.
