There has been no change in the borders of the Republic of Armenia. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this during the Q&A with government in the National Assembly, answering a question from a member of the “Armenia” (Hayastan) alliance Artur Ghazinyan about what the state border of Armenia is at the moment.
“The Republic of Armenia has the same border as on the law on Administrative-Territorial Division adopted in 2010. It describes where Armenia ends and where Azerbaijan begins. We proceed from this reality, which, of course, doesn’t mean that it’s 100% accurate. We say that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated our border in Sotk-Khoznavar section, we have a certain status quo in other areas,” Pashinyan said.
Pashinyan also stated that the current border has a problem of precise demarcation and delimitation.
