Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan met with Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolay Patrushev, Security Council of the Republic of Armenia reports.

Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan presented to Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolay Patrushev the situation that has developed as a result of the military actions initiated by Azerbaijan.

In particular, he noted that military operations are taking place on the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, and Azerbaijani troops must leave the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia.

Nikolay Patrushev expressed hope that the tension on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border will be defused quickly and that the Russian side is ready to provide Armenia and Azerbaijan with appropriate support for the demarcation and delimitation of the border.
